Should I see a socket on the virtual server
(loadbalancer) listening on the public IP and port 80
(for http)?

I am currently not seeing it under netstat -na, but
LVS is running and not giving me any errors:

(10.50.50.243 is my "public" IP -- testing on a local
net)

-----------
ipvsadm -C
ipvsadm -A -t 10.50.50.243:80 -s wlc

ipvsadm -a -t 10.50.50.243:80 -r 10.16.16.3:80 -m
