[lvs-users] mysql connection delay

Hi List!
I'm trying to troubleshoot connection delay to mysql
slaves.

If connected directly, to slave, there is no delay.
If I try to connect through VIP, a delay of a second or
more occurs.

LVS ver: IP Virtual Server version 1.2.1 (size=4096)
connection type when through lvs: tunnel
kernel on VIP: 2.6.18-4
mysql server version on slaves: 5.0.xx

there are no firewalls configured, only arp filtering
for VIP IP (tunneling).

What could be causing the delay?
