[lvs-users] Problem lo:o

I am use Suse Server Enterprise Server 10 - SP 1
Have set up my arptable rules but am having trouble setting up the lo:0
device in /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-lo:0.

When I try to start this device up I get the message:

cat: /sys/class/net/lo:0/type: No such file or directory
lo:0
lo:0 IP address: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
interface lo:0 is not up

I have tried to copy the folder /sys/class/net/lo to /sys/class/net/lo:0
but without luck.

Someanoe help?
