thanks for the reply,
i have read all docs and how-to, but found nothing.
Searching on the net i have found this interesting doc on ultramonkey
project web-site
http://www.ultramonkey.org/papers/lvs_tutorial/html/ (look at the LVS -
Direct routing example)
As i wrote on my prevoius messagge, the problem was not on the director
but on the real server
the solution is that i had to give this comand to the real server:
ifconfig lo:0 192.168.1.15 netmask 255.255.255.255 up
intead of:
ifconfig lo:0 192.168.1.15 up
but i dont understand why it is working now ?
Could somebody explain me this ?
Thanks,
Regards
@Alparslan OZTURK
------------------------
i have to give this commands
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/eth0/arp_ignore
echo 2 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/eth0/arp_announce
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/all/arp_ignore
echo 2 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/all/arp_announce
otherwise the lo:o device will respond with its mac address when recieve
an arp broadcast(and it will be a mess, beacuse also the director
respond to the arp broadcast)
from the client.
Regards.
