no unfortunately not. There's a lot of code floating around 
that hasn't been tested exhaustively and so can't be 
submitted to the kernel. It's a problem of someone sitting 
down and doing enough tests to show that it works and is 
safe to be released. There's a fairly high bar for kernel 
code.
